Two exciting days, with many good conversations, interesting presentations and a sensational view of Salzburg are in the books.

We would like to thank all the speakers and exhibitors who brought “The Importance of Cash and the Self-Service Channel” into focus with their expertise and the latest innovations in the self-service sector. We were particularly pleased to welcome numerous conference guests to the SBS Talks livestream.

The Salzburger Banken Software (SBS) was founded under the name SBS Software Ges.m.b.H. was founded in Salzburg on May 30, 1988 and pursues the company purpose: software development for banks and bank data centers with a specialization in the areas of customer self-service and counters/checkout, consulting and software maintenance for banks and credit institutions

Event Summary

On June 21 & 22, 2022 Salzburg Banken Software (SBS) held the ATM Conference, the SBS Talks, for the fifth time.

This year’s motto “The Importance of Cash and the Self-Service Channel” attracted numerous participants from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and other European countries to Salzburg. A livestream directly from the conference hall allowed even more interested parties to follow the SBS Talks 2022 online.

In addition to exciting presentations, exhibit booths could be visited which offered the participants live experiences of the latest self-service devices and innovative showcases of current developments in the self-service sector.

    SBS Showcases

    SBS presented a first prototype of a Digital Service Assistant that guides users step by step through the problem resolution process.
    The new data hub kixomatic and new functions of the ATM management solution KIXOperator were also presented.

    With the SBS solution KIXDesigner, participants could design an individual GUI for self-service devices live on site.
    Purchasing digital goods – from vouchers to cryptocurrencies to NFTs- on a self-service device could be also experienced.

    A Consulting by SBS booth informed guests about consulting services in the area of ATM Quality, ATM Installation and ATM Security.

    Exhibit Booths

    The exhibition floor was populated with the following self-service devices from leading hardware manufacturers:

      • Diebold Nixdorf with the new CRS Generation DN Series 200H & Cash Management with End-2-End Process Control
      • Hyosung with the Cash Recycler Monimax 8600S
      • KEBA with the KePlus D10 and a demo app developed together with SBS, which was used to present new innovative features
      • NCR with a SelfServ 62 Cash Recycler

    Evening Event

    On the evening of June 21, 2022, a bus shuttle took the participants high up on the Gaisberg mountain.

    A traditional dinner in a rustic atmosphere awaited the guests in the Zistel Stadl. The unique view of Salzburg and the Alps as well as the wonderful sounds of the quartet “Gic&The SalaManders” created an exuberant mood and rounded off the evening.
